Bruce Ruud & Associates, LLC is a financial planning
and employee benefits consulting firm located in New Braunfels, Texas.
Bruce Ruud & Associates, LLC was founded by Bruce Ruud, a Certified
Financial Planner practitioner, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist,
Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist
who spent 30 years with the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department
of Labor before starting his own firm in Dallas, Texas in 2001. In 2003, he
relocated the firm to New Braunfels, Texas.
Bruce Ruud & Associates, LLC offers personalized
investment advice to individual investors and plan participants and is a
registered
 investment advisor. We provide fee-only, as needed,
financial planning and investment advisory services to individuals, plan
participants, employee benefit plan sponsors and plan fiduciaries.
One thing that separates us from many of our
competitors is our independence. We do not accept fees, commissions,
products or services from any financial service firm or investment manager.
Another difference is that we do not have investment thresholds or
minimums. We are willing to help you regardless of the amount you have to
invest. We know from experience that the first step of your investment
journey is the toughest, and we want to be there with you to guide you along
the path to financial security.
Bruce Ruud & Associates, LLC is also an employee
benefits consulting firm specializing in providing advice to companies
and employee benefit plan fiduciaries regarding their obligations under the
Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). In particular, we
help our clients comply with the laws and regulations that govern those
plans and, at the same time, minimize their exposure to fiduciary
liability. In addition, we are a registered investment advisor and provide
investment advice to plan fiduciaries to achieve a prudent balance of
investment performance and risk. We also provide litigation support and
expert witness testimony to attorneys involved in employee benefit plan
matters.
